Catherine Wells, LMSW

My name is Catherine Wells and I am a Licensed Master Social Worker. Born and raised in the Buffalo, NY area, I earned my Bachelors in Psychology and Master of Social Work (MSW) degrees from the University at Buffalo.

I am a compassionate and dedicated therapist with a trauma-informed and holistic approach to mental wellness. I work with teens and adults navigating issues such as anxiety, depression, ADHD, ODD, relationship difficulties, and self-esteem concerns. I provide a safe and supportive space where clients feel seen, heard, and valued.

Believing in the dignity and worth of every individual, I approach therapy with empathy, compassion, and a nonjudgmental mindset. I integrate evidence-based practices such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and mindfulness techniques to help clients navigate life’s challenges.

My work is rooted in collaboration—helping clients develop meaningful goals and identify actionable steps to regain control, build confidence, and live their best lives. Whether you’re working through past trauma, managing daily stressors, or seeking personal growth, I am committed to working alongside you with warmth and support.
