Insurance & Private Pay

Investing in Your Mental Health

We know that starting therapy is a big decision—emotionally and financially. At GC Counseling, we’re committed to transparency and flexibility when it comes to payment options. Whether you're using insurance or paying privately, we’re here to help make the process simple and stress-free.

Insurance

We are in-network with select insurance plans. Coverage may vary depending on your specific plan, deductible, and benefits.

Currently accepted insurance plans may include:

*Please note: Not all therapists at GC Counseling accept every insurance listed above. When you reach out, we’ll help match you with a therapist who fits both your clinical needs and your insurance coverage.

Before your first session, we recommend contacting your insurance provider to ask:

  • Do I have mental health benefits?

  • Is GC Counseling or my therapist in-network?

  • What is my copay or coinsurance per session?

  • Do I have a deductible, and has it been met?

We are happy to verify benefits for you and answer any questions you may have during the intake process.

Out-of-Network & Superbills

If we are not in-network with your plan, you may still be able to receive out-of-network reimbursement. Many clients choose to pay privately and submit a superbill to their insurance for partial reimbursement.

We’re happy to provide monthly superbills and guide you through this process if needed.

Private Pay

Private pay allows for greater flexibility, privacy, and control over your therapy experience. You don’t need a diagnosis, and no information is shared with insurance companies.

Our private pay rates vary by provider and service, and typically range from:

  • $100-$150 per 50-minute individual session

We accept payment via credit card, HSA/FSA, or secure online payment.

Why Clients Choose Private Pay

  • More control over session length and frequency

  • No requirement for a mental health diagnosis

  • Greater confidentiality and privacy

  • Freedom to work on any goals—not just what’s “medically necessary”

Whether you're using insurance or paying out-of-pocket, therapy is an investment in your long-term well-being. We’ll work with you to find the best path forward.
